Gábor Mezei is a poet, senior lecturer at the Department of American Studies, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. He has published three volumes of poetry, and is the author of two monographs. His main fields of interest are 20th and 21st-century Hungarian and American poetry, the concepts of writing and biopoetics.
